Delft Punch Bowl
With Jacobite Rose Decoration
18th Century

Punch bowl with Jacobite Rose decoration on the sides and waving ribbons and branches along the inside of the interior edges. The blue-gray tin glaze is chipped some along the rim and there is a tight crack on the side.
Dimensions: 5-inches tall with a 10.375-inch diameter

As depicted, a scarce porringer, molded lug handles in form of cherubs, pierced for hanging, floral decoration, very good condition with minor glaze chips. (Diameter: 9.25-inches; height: 2.75-inches; width at handles: 9.25-inches.)

Delft Posset Pot
Early 18th Century
English



Polychrome pear-shape posset pot with dome lid with flared rim and mushroom finial, foliate decoration around the rim and wide strap handles terminating in tight scrolls. An inscription on the inside of the lid reads "BRISTOL / DELFT / CIRCA / 1730 / VAN ALLEN family / FisH Kill / NY" [sic].
There is professional restoration to the cover and pot.

Delftware Apothecary Dry Drug Jar
England
Circa 1710



Long globular body, short flared neck and base, bluish tin glaze, rim is partially unglazed, decorated in blue with cartouche surrounded by shells, flowers and angels. Inscribed "U: SAMBUC." (Unguentum Sambucus.) Glazed on bottom. Probably London. There is a large, roughly triangular chip on the neck, otherwise very good condition. Approximately 7.25-inches high.

Slightly flared bowl has exterior decoration of medallions around rim, peacocks, butterflies, flowers, rocks in blue, interior has stylized flowers on bottom. Several areas of restoration around rim. Approximately 5 ¼-inches high; diameter across top approximately 10 ¼-inches; diameter of foot approximately 4 ¼-inches.

Polychrome Delft/Faience Tile



Approximately 5 ¼-inches x 5 ¼-inches x ½-inch. Very well decorated tile w/ child sniffing flowers inside of a circle w/ trefoils in each corner, done in green, purple, yellow, orange, and cobalt. Two or three very small, shallow chips on surface, expected chipping along edges. Buff/sand colored body, c. late 17th - early 18th c.
